I took our brand-new SUV in after it was smashed into on Rock Creek Parkway less than two weeks after we bought it. At a time when my fiancee and I were distraught, the folks at OTAB were such a calming influence. They were very helpful and very thorough. A service writer - Dennis - walked around the vehicle with me to do a thorough evaluation. Another service writer - Dave - helped along the process, keeping me updated about the quote & repairs via phone. Both were very pleasant and forthcoming. We have State Farm, and OTAB is a authorized shop, so it was very easy. All we had to do was pay our deductible, and everything else was taken care of. They even left us a bottle of extra touch-up paint in the car. Best yet, they got the car back to us three days before they said they would. All in all, this literally was the best experience I've had at an auto repair shop. In addition to this review, I will be telling my friends in person to go to OTAB if they ever need auto-body work.

Your car is in good hands when it comes to this place. I had major damage to the side of my car from a tractor trailor. I just got the car back over the weekend and it looks like it was never in an accident. Old Towne Auto Body had it for about a month. Throughout the month, one of the mechanics there named Pat, gave me an update at least twice a week just to keep me informed of what was going on. Every time he had to contact the insurance company about new parts they had to order for the car, he also would contact me. He was an all around nice guy. I did however after picking it up on a Friday discover that the back-up camera in the dash did not display a picture when put in reverse...it was just a black screen. Since they were already closed by the time I noticed it, I had to wait till Monday to call them. I made arrangments with Pat to bring it over in the evening after work. I did, thinking I had to drop it off and take the metro home...but no, they were able to fix it right there in about 15 min. So now the car is perfect and I vow not to go anywhere else if I ever need a repair again.

It is exceptionally rare that I return home from anything - let alone something involving my car - being happy enough with my service to write a review. In fact, I don't believe that that has ever happened before today and my experience with Olde Towne Auto Body. I was referred here after an accident earlier in the year by my insurance, and since it was the closest place to my house, I went with it. There was a big debacle with my insurance company, and I ended up having to pay for a loaner car, so Dave made sure to keep me in the loop as much as possible during the entire process so that we could at least save me a little bit of money. The job was done on time, as he had said, but when I went through the exit inspection of the vehicle, there was a scratch that wasn't there beforehand. He jotted it down and said to come back when I had a day or two to leave it there and they'd fix it right up. I go home and a few days later I notice a small panel missing that I would have completely missed if I didn't park in a parking garage and have to walk by the front of my car sometimes. So that was a minor ding on the service, and had I just been basing my review off of this, they'd get a 3. HOWEVER. I procrastinated, and had work travel, and tons of other reasons to not be without my car for a few days, and so here it is almost 3 months later, and I called Dave up to fix those remaining issues, and he had me bring it in. Within a day and a half, they were able to fix all the issues, pop that missing piece back in, and not only that - they buffed out a scratch that (while I was 99% sure it was the same thing that scratched the back of my car) I hadn't noticed immediately and didn't have proof that it was from their activities. They gave me a loaner car to boot, which - while older and didn't quite spoil me as much as my car does - was reliable and clean. Dave gets absolute props from me - he is extremely professional and their shop does a great job. They went above and beyond, and I absolutely recommend them.

Some guy drove right into me and shattered my front driver-side headlight...it caused paint, hood and bumper damage, too. After the debacle of trying to get the actual check from the company to pay for my repairs, I was finally able to take my car to Olde Town Auto Body and Paint. They let me come in for an estimate and said that it was accurate. I brought my car in two weeks later to drop it off for 9 days. When I came back to pick it up, it was beautiful. they matched the paint very well (my car is an interesting color), and they washed it up and wiped down the interior. I was very pleased. On top of that, they were super nice and, like most of these reviews say, I didn't get the feeling that they were ripping me off because I'm a female. When I picked up my car, they even drilled my front license plate on because the front of my car had no holes for it. I'm glad I found this place and I definitely recommend it to other folks needing body repair.

Fantastic customer service! It was a pleasure working with these guys. They answered and spoke on the phone very professionally and made sure to call me back promptly with updates. They did a good job on the car and got it done in a very reasonable amount of time. Customer service was important to them and it showed from each person I worked with from the first phone call into the shop to picking up my car after the work was done. I hoped this place was good and had gone with this shop after I had cross referenced yelp ratings with the shops my insurance company authorized. Keep up the great work!

Hooray! My car is all better! When USAA's list of places to get my car fixed had an option that's only 3 blocks from home, I immediately came over here to read the reviews. Seeing mostly positives, I figured it was meant to be - I barely had to drive my poor wrecked Jethro (yes, its my car's name, don't judge) and nobody had to follow me to get me home. From the beginning, I was happy with the folks at Olde Towne Auto - they did a full look at the car, took pictures, and told me when to expect the estimate. Once it was in, they gave me an estimated repair date of 3 weeks later - understandable, there was a pretty solid amount of damage to three separate panels, lots of parts to order, and lots of work to be done. This accident, since the beginning, has been a huge comedy of errors. So when I got the reminder call from my insurance that I was going to go over my rental car max a couple of days before the car was supposed to ready, I called to check on the progress. Turns out, everything was going beautifully except for one little detail - one of the panels that had been delivered to the back of the shop was stolen. Seriously?? Who does that?? Its not like someone could just walk up and take it and walk down the street with it. That put them about a week back on the repairs, but they were SUPER apologetic, and since I had already hit my rental car limit, they offered me a free loaner car. They pre-warned me that it was nothing exciting. They were right. Think about the most pimp-tastic 1994 Buick Park Ave you can imagine - that was it. Forest green, with the camel colored fabric on top, and buttons for EVERYTHING. I will ding them on not making sure the car was clean before they gave it to me though - it needed a good vaccuum, and there was some trash in it. But the tank was full, and it drove just fine. And it was free, which was a plus since we're still not sure which insurance is accepting liability, and therefore we don't know when I'll be reimbursed. They got the car fixed on the revised promised date, and everything is beautiful - the paint job is superb, all the bits are back in place, and they even washed him real good for me. Even though I get high every time I get in the car from the paint fumes, I'm thrilled to have Jethro back, and absolutely happy with the work from the guys at Olde Towne Auto. And if I decide later I'm not, they have a lifetime guarantee of their work, so I just have to tell them so. Special thanks to Dave for keeping me in the loop through the whole process.

After sideswiping a pole in a parking garage, I brought my new-ish car here after reading the positive reviews on yelp. The estimate was more expensive than the other place I checked out, but I thought it was worth the extra money. The work was great and their customer service reflected that they value your business. I'm still depressed after sideswiping a pole, but I should probably check out another type of business to help with that.

I was in a car accident and had some significant damage to the front of my car. The gentlemen at Old Towne Auto Body were very helpful and timely. They made the whole process very easy. My car was fixed in the time that they said it would be and they even fit in some mechanical work without delaying the delivery date. The biggest surprise was when I got my car back and they had gone above and beyond to fix the mechanism on my electric drivers seat without saying a word about it or billing me for it. I would definitely recommend them!
