I was rear ended by a mom on a cell phone and luckily she had usaa insurance. Never had to chose a repair shop so I turned to yelp. Olde Towne auto body was on the usaa list and well reviewed by the yelposphere so I gave it a try. My car looks like new and everything went as promised. They even had a recommendation for seat repairs and washed my car before I picked it up. Great experience if you need this sort of thing

Fantastic experience. I used them with USAA and my car was in and out in a week. During the process, I was texted the status of the repair and as the repair neared completion, I was called several times on the status. If you are dropping your car off on a Monday morning before work or anytime before 9am, be prepared to not be able to find a place to park along the road and have to do some shuffling to get into the office and start the process. I would go here again anytime and highly recommend it!

Have to give a really big thumbs up to Old Town Auto Body. We have taken our cars there multiple time through our insurance for body work and they have always done an outstanding job. Several weeks ago our air conditioner went and our regular mechanic asked us if we had ever been in a front end accident, saying that an incorrect bolt was replaced that eventually punctured another part causing the air conditioner to fail. He saved the part so we could take it to Old Town Auto Body to ask them about it. We thought it was a total shot in the dark but we asked them if they would pay for the repairs since it was 100% caused by the incorrect part that was installed when we had repairs done following an accident. We dropped off the part, talked to the manager Erwin, and with no questions asked (after reviewing the situation including inspecting the part) sent us a check in the mail for the cost of the repairs. When it seems like its hard to find businesses that do the right thing, Old Town Auto Body really stands out in purposely choosing to do it right and honestly.

I picked up my 2014 Buick Regal GS yesterday evening and I was very pleased with the quality results and attention to detail. At every step of the way, I was treated with courtesy and respect. Although the collision damage incurred from another reckless driver was minor, Yates Collision was responsive and professional, keeping me updated and returned my vehicle to me in less than half the time estimated. I would especially like to commend Carolyn who was ever-responsive, knowledgeable courteous polite and professional regarding processing my claim, Secondly due to my work schedule, I was in Baltimore, MD stuck in heavy traffic. Bill, in accounting was patient and most supportive in processing the billing (since my bank had set a daily limit) so I could conduct after hours pick-up. From acknowledging the highly skilled technicians and painting artisans I can tell they are all talented quality conscious experts. There is no visible residual indications or traces of any previous damage! I will make this report to my insurance company and happy to refer others to Yates Collision, as wells as provide additional praiseworthy comments on "yelp", and other social media. Well done! My Town Auto Body & Paint experience is by far the most superior expertise I've ever received in auto body repair industry anywhere!

I came here because they were only a few blocks from my house and were certified through USAA after my car was struck at work. The car had a pretty nasty dent and multiple scratches. I was a bit nervous about their ability to get it back to normal, but it honestly looks completely brand new. The colors matched perfectly and I was told that it has a lifetime guarantee, in case they start to fade at a different rate from the rest of the car. While they were fixing my car, someone appeared to have broken the cover for my cup holder in the front seat. Although I couldn't prove it wasn't already broken, they immediately took responsibility, ordered an entirely new cup holder, and replaced that as well. I was very happy with the work they did and will be going here in the future for body work.

Yesterday someone hit my front bumper and scratched it up at the parking lot at work. Of course, they didn't leave a note taking responsibility or apologizing. Needless to say, I was upset. Because I take pride in the cars I own, and because my car will be going to my daughter when she graduates, having scratches and dents aren't acceptable. Anyway, I saw excellent reviews for Old Town Auto Body, and set up an appointment today so I could get an estimate for the repair. Irwin, a Collision Estimator, looked at the car. He asked if he could "give it a try" and make a minor repair, rather than a full one and see -- repainting the entire front bumper. I said, sure, give it a try. Less than a minute later, the scratches were all gone, and he said "it was on the house." I gotta' tell you, I was shocked, overjoyed, and I almost hugged him! I asked him if I could get him a cup of coffee, or something, showing my appreciation. Instead, he said to give him a good review on Yelp. Well, here it is. I'm so grateful and happy! He didn't have to do this, but he did, because he knows that I'll return, and refer others to him and his shop. Thanks Irwin and Old Town Auto Body! I'll be back!

I will start by saying this is my first Yelp review. I've long realized it would take a lot of muscle for a business to motivate me to write, but I am fortunate that Old Town Auto Body and Paint can be my first. This morning, while leisurely listening to the Kane Show on my foggy drive to work and lusting for my first cup of coffee, a black Passat crossed one lane of Route 50 to cut in front of me on the Rosslyn on ramp. Wailing on my horn, I braced for impact. The driver grazed my driver's side quarter panel, but I did not hear the telltale "crunch" sound of something more serious. I stopped at the next stoplight to survey the potential damage. In the early morning darkness, I surveyed the potential injury that may have befallen my beloved Audi. I saw none, but noted the Passat's plate number, just in case I spotted a knick under improved lighting. In my mind, I will always remember the Passat's University of Maryland alumni vanity license plate and the reckless driver who came with them. "Fear the turtle" indeed. 5 minutes later, I arrived at my office and realized I was interested in obtaining an automotive sanity check for the very minor scuff on the driver's side wheel well I noticed under the garage's florescent lighting. My hunch was that the streak buff out, and that my brave little station wagon had not sustained any frame or lighting damage. I called Old Town Auto Body and Paint for an estimate. They scheduled me for a lunch time appointment today. I made my way to their Fayette Street. I was 10 minutes early, but Irwin was available, and kindly answered my novice questions without condescension. I asked for confirmation of my understanding, that the incident from the morning had resulted in very, very minor cosmetic damage, but that there was no damage to the frame or the driver's side light. He confirmed my layman's opinion and suggested a wet sand to buff the small scuffs out. If my schedule allowed, he stated, the shop could complete the task in 10 to 15 minutes while I was there. He and Mike patiently answered my questions as the buffing occurred. I braced myself for this auto shop to nickel and dime me. After all, the industry does possess that worn out stereotype. Instead, I was fortunate to receive the best of care. In conclusion, I would like to extend my thanks to Mike and to Irwin for their patience and their timely assistance today. They both went above and beyond for me, providing peace of mind after my "Passat Encounter of the Third Kind" from this morning. Mike and Irwin, thanks again for everything you did for me today.

I've been in more than a few times for flat fixes. They have always been very professional and taken good care of my vehicle. The service is fast and reliable. Again I've only been in for flat fixes.

Holy negative reviews! I first came here because I moved to Alexandria, and needed to get my car inspected. We originally moved to Silver Spring from ATL, and when I took my car to get inspected in Maryland, they found 1,000 things wrong with my car. Yes, my car is an older car (2001). But, it's also a Honda Accord in excellent condition. I had new tires, and the Maryland inspector said I needed new tires. Seriously!?!? It worked out because we ended up breaking our lease, and moving to Virginia where it's greater! Anyways, I prepared myself for these guys to say I needed 1,001 things fixed with my Honda, and to my surprise as well as satisfaction- I got my inspection sticker and emissions certificate a mere 30 minutes of pulling in. I've been there two years since, and never have the worry and heartache about getting my car inspected. Plus, the inspection never takes more than 30 minutes of my time. They told me it's a great car, and to hold onto it. We just bought a new car, and I made sure to ask him were we making a smart purchase since it's not a Honda (we wanted something a bit better in the snow!) I didn't know they do oil changes, and the whole nine yards, but now we will be bringing BOTH our cars to Old Town Auto!
